Acute whiplash typically causes symptoms 6-12 hours after the initial injury. Patients could have symptoms uch as:
Acute whiplash, if not managed appropriately, can result in long-term complications. The most common complication is the recurrent spasm of the neck muscles, causing the straightening of the lordotic curve in the neck.
